About

The ProxTalker + Tactile Connections in brief

ProxTalker + Tactile Connections combines the five-location ProxTalker recorded-speech AAC device with the American Printing House for the Blind Tactile Connection Kit and All in One Board. It is designed to create an individualised tactile communication system for learners who need objects or tactile symbols to represent vocabulary. A part of an object can be mounted to a hand-sized card representing categories such as people, places, actions or objects, then paired with a recordable sound tag for speech output. The package includes the ProxTalker, 80 prerecorded sound tags, 60 blank sound tags, binder or backpack with four-page Velcro set, two sets of programming tags, labels and laminates, APH Tactile Connection Kit, APH All in One Board, 100 large tags and a 3-year warranty. Standard and light-touch versions are available.
