ProxPAD + Tactile Connections combines the complete ProxPAD communication device with the American Printing House for the Blind Tactile Connection Kit and All in One Board. The package is designed for learners who need tangible objects or tactile symbols as meaningful communication cues, including people with visual impairment alongside additional disabilities or limited formal communication or literacy. Parts of real objects can be mounted on hand-sized tactile cards representing vocabulary categories such as people, places, actions and objects; a recordable RFID sound tag is then attached so the card produces speech through the ProxPAD. The package includes the ProxPAD, 70 large blank tags, programming tag set, power adapter, rechargeable batteries, charging station, labels and laminates, APH Tactile Connection Kit, APH All in One Board and a 2-year warranty.
