The Grid Pad Go in brief
Grid Pad Go is Smartbox's portable Windows AAC option, built around a 10.5-inch display and Grid 3 for Windows. It is designed for people who primarily use touch, a keyguard, switches or compatible Bluetooth access rather than eye gaze. The purpose-built case adds an adjustable stand, tactile handle, accessible controls, two 3.5 mm switch ports, toughened glass and a reinforced structure drop-tested to 1 metre. Smartbox specifies an 8-hour battery and includes Grid 3 for Windows. The device package includes the communication aid, mains adaptor and lead, carry case, device carry strap, screen cleaning cloth, USB-C adaptor and support documentation. SmartCare is available for Grid Pad Go, with standard coverage dependent on region. Grid Pad Go is not available with eye gaze; users who require integrated eye-gaze access should consider Grid Pad 13 or Grid Pad 16 instead.

Is this right for you?
Users who want a compact, durable Windows AAC device for touch, keyguard or switch access. Grid Pad Go is the portable choice in the Grid Pad family, but it is not designed as an eye-gaze system. If eye gaze is required now or is likely to become important later, Grid Pad 13 or Grid Pad 16 is the better Smartbox platform.
