The Snap Scene in brief
Snap Scene is a visual-scene AAC app designed for emerging communicators. A parent, teacher or therapist can take a photo of a familiar situation and add interactive hotspots with recorded messages, allowing the user to communicate directly from the scene. The approach links language to meaningful everyday experiences and can support requests, comments, sharing information and early concept development. Snap Scene is available for Windows and iPad and can be used alongside the free Pathways for Snap Scene companion resources.
