The PCEye in brief
PCEye is a compact eye tracker that adds eye-gaze access to a compatible Windows computer rather than functioning as a complete speech generating device on its own. It supports Windows tablets, laptops and desktop monitors up to 27 inches and includes TD Control for navigating Windows with the eyes. TD Snap or Communicator 5 can be purchased as additional communication software when AAC is required. Compared with the TD I-Series, PCEye is a more modular solution: it relies on the connected computer for the display, speakers, battery, processing and overall durability, and it does not provide an integrated Partner Window. Tobii Dynavox includes a 2-year manufacturer warranty. For tablet installations, the optional PCEye bracket is strongly recommended and is sold separately; appropriate stable positioning is important for reliable eye tracking.

Is this right for you?
People who already have, or specifically want to use, a compatible Windows computer and need to add eye-gaze access. PCEye is a strong choice for modular computer access or assessment setups, but it is not equivalent to a full I-Series device: the computer, speakers, battery, mounting and AAC software package depend on the chosen setup. Stable mounting is important, and a PCEye bracket is recommended for tablet installations and sold separately.
