About

The Keyboard Keyguards in brief

Inclusive Technology offers model-specific keyboard keyguards designed to make direct keyboard access more accurate for users with motor control difficulties. A keyguard sits above the keyboard with openings positioned over individual keys, allowing the user to guide a finger into the intended key while reducing accidental activation of neighbouring keys. The rigid surface can also allow some users to rest part of the hand on the keyboard without pressing keys unintentionally. For example, the dedicated Jumbo XL keyguard clips securely onto both USB and Bluetooth Jumbo XL models and is made from durable powder-coated steel with a wipe-clean finish. Because keyguards are manufactured around the exact key layout of individual keyboards, the correct model must be selected for the keyboard being used.

Key features

Why teams choose the Keyboard Keyguards

Helps isolate individual keys

Openings guide the user's finger toward a single key and reduce accidental activation of neighbouring keys.

Supports hand resting

The rigid surface can allow users to steady or rest a hand while still accessing the keyboard through the openings.

Model-specific fit

Keyguards are designed around particular keyboard layouts, so key openings align accurately with the intended keys.

Durable and easy to clean

Inclusive's Jumbo XL keyguard uses powder-coated steel and a wipe-clean finish for repeated everyday use.

Who it helps

Is this right for you?

Keyboard users who have the movement to select keys directly but need help controlling finger position, avoiding neighbouring keys or stabilising their hand during typing. A keyguard is not universal: the correct version should always be matched to the exact keyboard model.
