Workshop with Dubai Centre for Special Needs
On 20 January we ran a workshop with therapists from the Dubai Centre for Special Needs. We started with what assistive technology is and finished with hands-on time on the devices.
Al Noor’s SHX multisensory room
Al Noor Training Centre continues to create new possibilities for its students. Its SHX multisensory room lets students control an immersive space with voice, touch, proximity, movement and eye gaze.

Celebrating 17 years
We celebrated our 17th anniversary on 7 January. To say thank you, we ran a giveaway of an AAC device for someone who needed one. The winner was announced in February.
Industry news
Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) signed a memorandum of understanding with the organising committee of the Global Information Technology Challenge to host the challenge’s final round for youth of determination in Abu Dhabi in October 2023.
