Toy innovation meets assistive technology

Our coding robot kit is designed with accessibility in mind. Users programme the robot’s movements with easy-to-use buttons and switches, with no keyboard or mouse needed, and its sensors avoid obstacles for safe play. It works with our switches and AAC devices, so parents, therapists and teachers can build communication, language, concept and cause-and-effect lessons around each learner’s needs.

Meet Khalid Nabulsi

This month we featured Khalid Nabulsi, who lives with ALS and has not let his condition define him. His story is one of resilience and hope, and of the part assistive technology plays in helping him live life to the full.

World Autism Acceptance Month

We marked World Autism Acceptance Month by sharing tips and ideas on how assistive technology can help autistic people overcome barriers. Everyone deserves the chance to reach their full potential.

Ramadan together

During Ramadan we showed how assistive technology can be used to recite wudu and surahs, and shared free grid sets so that more people could take part.

Assistive technology through Arab eyes

We hosted a free webinar on the experiences of Arab users of assistive technology: availability across the region, cultural considerations in design, and the role technology plays in social inclusion.

2022 TD Brand Champion

We were proud to be named a 2022 Brand Champion by Tobii Dynavox, in recognition of our commitment to people with communication and accessibility needs.
