Sensory Go SHX
From empty room to confident everyday use

The room is a project, not a purchase

We manage the full journey so design intent survives procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.

01

Discovery & clinical brief

We start with the people, not the equipment: users, sensory profiles, therapeutic and educational goals, staffing, room use, safeguarding and budget.

02

Site survey & design

We measure the space, review services and access, then plan zoning, equipment positions, projection, lighting, sound, furniture and control.

03

Specification & customisation

We build the right mix of Qinera Luminea, SHX and complementary technology, from a sensory corner to a fully immersive room.

04

Installation & commissioning

Our technical team installs, integrates, tests and commissions the room so the technology works together safely and reliably.

05

Training & handover

We train therapists, teachers and support teams on activities, user access, content creation, room control and day-to-day operation.

06

After-sales & development

Remote troubleshooting, on-site support, refresher training and future upgrades keep the room useful long after handover.

There is no single sensory room

Environments we create

A good room is shaped by its users, goals and setting. These are examples. Every project is configurable.

Immersive SHX rooms

Coordinated projection, lighting, sound, vibration and sensory effects that can transform together as one environment.

Early intervention & learning

Playful, accessible environments for exploration, communication, joint attention, cause and effect and early learning.

Calm & regulation spaces

Carefully controlled sensory input, comfortable positioning and familiar content for spaces designed around regulation and well-being.

Sensory integration & motor spaces

Movement, proprioceptive, tactile and vestibular opportunities planned around OT goals, circulation and safe use.

Interactive & projection spaces

Wall and floor projection, accessible activities and responsive environments for participation, learning and leisure.

Small spaces & sensory corners

Start with meaningful core elements and expand later, without making the original investment obsolete.

The user should be able to make something happen

Sensory technology and assistive technology belong together

Interaction can be adapted around the person instead of asking the person to adapt to the room.

SHX: one room, one coordinated system

Qinera SHX can synchronise projection, image, video, lighting, music, sound, vibration, bubble tubes, fibre optics and other effects into a single scene.

Accessible control for the user

The room can respond to tablets, large buttons, switches, scanning, voice, eye gaze and specialist SHX controllers, so interaction is not reserved for people who can use a touchscreen.

Luminea interactive sensory elements

Bubble tubes, fibre optics and lighting can work independently, through the Luminea ecosystem, or become part of a larger SHX room as needs grow.

Vibroacoustic & immersive media

Sound can be heard and felt through compatible vibroacoustic furniture, while projection and audio create coherent, meaningful multisensory experiences.

A sensory room is only successful if your team keeps using it well

Real support after handover

Our responsibility does not end when the lights switch on. We support the people responsible for making the room valuable every day.

Refresher training

Teams change. We can return to train new staff, deepen clinical use and help the room become part of everyday practice.

Troubleshooting & maintenance

Remote diagnosis and on-site technical support help minimise downtime and protect the investment.

Rooms that can grow

Luminea and SHX are designed to be scalable, so new control methods, effects and experiences can be added over time.
